I did a post a while back about 10 things that aggravate me and I don’t know why, but it hit me lately that there are also some mysteriously creepy things that I sometimes think about, and I have no idea why they’re creepy. It’s not stuff like horror flicks or whatever, it’s more just everyday stuff that strikes me in a creepy way. So here they are, for whatever it’s worth:
1. Antique furniture. Sometimes that stuff just gives off a creepy vibe.
2. 60’s music. Not all of it (Zeppelin, Hendrix, and Beatles are excluded), but mainly the other less-well-known, LSD-induced songs that are VERY dated, and wouldn’t be fit to listen to in any other decade except the 60’s.
3. Medical equipment from the 1800’s. They knew NOTHING about the scientific side of medicine back then, and it showed.
4. Extreme animal rights activists. I’m having a hard time differentiating between them and terrorists.
5. Extreme environmentalists, for the same reason as above.
6. Gas masks.
7. Mack trucks from the 1970’s.
8. Court jesters from the Medieval period.
9. Old Navy diving suits.
10. A phone ringing really late at night.
Again, I don’t know why…I’ll leave that to the Freudians among us.
