Hallelujah…Melissa Lawson won The Next Nashville Star!!!!
I can honestly say that I pegged this lady from the beginning. I know that it’s easy to say that in hindsight, and for all you know, I could be completely lying about all this stuff, but truth be told, I really did believe that she was the best out of all the competitors from the beginning. What a voice…she’s got that rich quality to her voice that’s rare, especially with the rise of all the teeny-bopper stars nowadays. And no, I ain’t hating on the young folks (I’m 33)…I just long for the days of true quality instead of flashy marketing tactics.
My only criticism? They kind of overdid it with the confetti at the end of the show…waaaayyy too much.
