What an episode. This one literally had me on the edge of my seat…maybe it was the whole high-stakes vibe of Las Vegas or something. Overall, I believe that Lisa and Aaron cold rocked it. They shined in every way. I thought it was pretty surprising and kind of funny that Paula Deen said she “HATED” Lisa’s mac-n-cheese dish. I thought, “Man, Paula, that’s kinda harsh.” Normally, Paula’s pretty sweet, but she brought the thunder on this one!
I believe that the Faux-Pas of the Episode Award goes to Adam, when he straight up walked off on Dana Devon…I felt bad for her, man. I was truly proud of Aaron, because even though he almost forgot the chicken parm, he ended up rocking it in record time. I really want Aaron to win. Out of all the people in the competition, Aaron is the personality that I believe the Food Network needs the most. He can bring that much-needed “cool dude” quality to the show.
Anyway, overall it was one of my favorite episodes yet. I’m looking forward to next week, and hopefully ultimately to seeing Aaron take it all.

I agree, Aaron would be a great addition to the FN line-up–they need someone “cool” in contrast to all those big talkers and big eaters.
I discuss this show on my blog, Annie’s New York Eats, which you can find at http://www.annienewman.typepad.com
I agree. Aaron will bring balance to the Force. LOL
